Naturally we’re going to keep this casual, but I thought we should have some kind of guidelines to follow. This is a work in process, so please let me know of anything you’d like to add or change.
1. The definition of each Challenge is open to interpretation. If you want to stretch the limits, be prepared to defend it. Creatively stretching the definition is encouraged.
2. Some images may fit in more than one challenge, but you may only enter it in ONE. You can have multiple images in a single challenge, but images can only be used once.
3. Any creation that can be submitted digitally is fair game. If you are an artist and want to submit a picture or scan of your artwork, then I’m gonna say it’s fair. Open to group discussion.
4. We’re going to make up the rules and argue about them as we go. Once they are posted here, it’s considered law until we collectively change our minds.
5. You MUST create at least one image specifically for the challenge. Once this is submitted, you can also enter as much as you want from your camera roll. Remember, the point was to get us actively creating!
6. Let me say that again… you CAN enter as many images as you want from previous work as long as you ALSO make a new challenge entry. Has to be a real effort too or we will call you out on it. Haha.
7. Compositions, digital artwork, photo illustration and other forms of post processing are all fair game. However, the group may demand to see an original component to assure it complies with #5.
8. Anyone can call Bullshit for any reason and we’ll put it up to a group vote of whether or not it’s allowed. I have no idea why this may come up, but thought I’d put it out there.
9. Currently only open to this immediate family (and their significant others). If anyone else wants to join or if you’d like to invite someone, it will get put to a majority vote.
