Hocus – Focus

This is the same image shot in succession with two different focal points.

 

Did you know they made a camera that allows you to choose your focus point in post production? Yes, it means you focus AFTER the shot is made! It’s crazy! The company is called Lytro and they refer to the device as a “Light Field Camera”.

 

It’s pretty trippy… look it up.

 

Sadly, they went out of business in 2018 so I was never able to play with one. I understand the device and the post processing software was pretty clunky.

 

Anyway, this is another image that features one of my very favorite things on Earth… peacocks!  Just kidding, I love you Megan!

    I too like peacocks.
    Except they sound like a cat getting sodomized when they do their calls in the early morning.
