Faux Bat
I love the way the LED lights hanging from the frame in the yard give the impression of some kind of celestial body. You know… like a moon or something.
I used a portable high power LED to light the metal bat and the “moon” lit itself with it solar powered batteries. Hand held with a high ISO setting because I was too lazy to go get my tripod. The high ISO setting left it with a lot of digital “noise”, but the rust hides it well enough.
If I were doing it over again, I’d go get the damn tripod so I could shoot with more detail and pick up some more of the spider webs. Another light to help separate it from the background would have been a good idea also.
Oh well, you reap what you sow.
At least this fulfills my obligation to the challenge and now I’m going to upload some shite from my camera roll.
Ta-Ta Fam.
